Due to the increasing numbers of infected with corona virus in Denmark, ARC is temporary closed for visitors.  

COVID-19 information 

ARC following the guidelines from the Danish health authorities. If you have any symptoms, please stay home. 

Due to the restrictions we are not allowed to use elevators. A visit at Amager Bakke requires a good health condition because we walk at stairs up and down from 10. floor (272 steps). 


A visit to ARC is your chance to learn more about the initiatives that are already done for the climate and environment, and those to be done tomorrow. 

Amager Bakke
Learn more about ARC’s new waste-to-energy plant Amager Bakke, and how it will be included in the city circuit in terms of waste, energy and culture alike. The visit includes a tour of the current facility to provide an insight of how a waste-to-energy plant works. Duration of the visit is approx. 2 hours. Min. 8 to max. 25 participants.

Please note that for security reasons, people with a height under 140 cm. are not allowed to tour the plant.
